    1. You have 2 hours and 40 minutes to finish the listening, reading, and writing portions of the IELTS exam.  You cannot get a break between these periods.
    2. Raise your hand to draw the examiner’s attention to the toilet or for any other need during the examination. Do not distract other students by talking loudly. 
    3. Raise your hand and tell the invigilator if there is a problem listening to the record. 
    4. Keeping your ID card on the desk during the examination is essential. 
    5. You can also keep your pen, pencil, sharpener, and eraser on the desk; nothing else is allowed. 
    6. You must stop writing as soon as the hall inspector says to stop. If you don’t stop writing, the examiners will cancel your exam.
    7. Do not remove the number on your desk. It would help to have it for your speaking test and candidate number. 
    8. Before going to the speaking room, you must take your identity card, number sticker, and yellow desk card. Speaking will be checked in the registration room. It would help if you collected everything from the cloakroom.
    9. Listen carefully to every instruction they give. 
    10. Remember and try to cheat.
    11. You must consult the examiner before leaving the examination room. Stay in the exam room until the examiner permits you.
